🇬🇧 York’s Best Atmospheric Michelin Restaurant 🍴 The Star

The restaurant is called The Star Inn the City, a Michelin-recommended eatery in York. We booked this place for a friend’s birthday! I can only say the ambiance and plating are top-notch～ Located by the lake, the atmosphere is superb, and the interior design is so stylish, making it a perfect spot for group meals and photo ops 😍📸 The menu can be translated directly using Youdao, so you can get the general idea. We ordered the tomato salad, chicken liver bread, and scallops as starters 🥗 Lamb chops, steak, venison, and salmon as main courses 🥩 (We were stuffed to the brim, the presentation was beautiful, and the taste was spot-on!) We also had truffle fries 🍟 (So delicious, they seemed to have an extra soul compared to regular fries) For dessert, we had Yorkshire pudding (so good! The little cakes with ice cream are amazing) 🍰 The restaurant even gifted a small cake for our friend’s birthday, so thoughtful! The waitstaff are all handsome British gentlemen and beautiful ladies; if you don’t know the names, just show the picture to the server and you’ll be fine～ The dishes we chose were all winners. No exaggeration, this place is perfect for sipping on some wine and enjoying the tranquil night vibe. The prices are on the higher end, with a main course around 35 pounds. If you’re coming for the ambiance, I dare say the environment and plating are worth it.
