🇬🇧 Yorkshire Wildlife Park | Let’s Go Rua the Capybaras!
I haven’t been to a zoo since coming to the UK! Finally, I took advantage of the good weather to visit one. 🚞 Transportation: Take the train from Leeds to Doncaster station, and it’s a bit tricky to get a taxi from there. You can take a bus (but they seem to run only every 40 minutes), we ended up hailing a random taxi at the station entrance. 🎫 Tickets 🔍 Just search for “Yorkshire wildlife park” to book tickets. The price is £28. 🗺️ Tour You can pick up a map at the entrance or download the App “Yorkshire wildlife park” in advance, which also has a map. The park is huge with a wide variety of animals, offering a great experience. I was especially excited to see my favorite capybaras! They were actively grazing right at the entrance. We also saw other animals like sea lions, rhinos, giraffes, lions, polar bears, leopards, tigers, and kangaroos (around 2:30 PM, the animals start to come out. We didn’t see many when we arrived at noon, but after having lunch, we saw them all)! 📍 Last tip: It’s really hard to get a taxi at the zoo entrance, so we took the bus back. Make sure to check the last bus time to plan your departure from the park! Don’t miss the last bus! #LeedsUniversity #Leeds #LeedsDayTrips #YorkshireWildlifePark #UKZoo #UnitedKingdom
