No service charge at any spots below, so no tipping stress! 📍 Zagreb (Budget-friendly capital—enjoy while you can!) ✅Le Bistro Esplanade ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (€34) 💫Hotel restaurant near the train station—elegant vibe. 💫Chef’s Menu (lunch-only, snagged the last one!): 💫Tuna tartare (fresh fish + crispy bread) 🌊Venison pasta (salty but wiped clean with focaccia 😂) 🌊Chocolate dessert (too sweet). 🌊 Otto & Frank ⭐⭐⭐ (€10) 💛Breakfast spot on "Bloody Street" (Tkalčićeva). 💛Zagreb Breakfast: Open-faced sandwich with fried egg (breaded, runny yolk), bacon, and yogurt sauce. Meh—only go for the novelty egg. 💛 Curry Bowl ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (€10) TOP OWL RANKING! 🌈Sri Lankan gem on Bloody Street—flavor bomb! 🌈Beef Kotthu (must-order! "3/5 spice" = mild) 🌈Chicken Curry (coconut-based, decent but not as wow). 🍀 Mali Medo ⭐⭐⭐ (€2.50) 🍀Random beer pub—skip if you’re German! 🍀Beer Taster (6 mini craft brews = cheap but forgettable). 🍸 Notable Bars I Passed: Bar 45 (cocktails, cozy at dusk) Oliver Twist (Irish pub with Guinness—my love!). 📍 Plitvice Lakes 🍀Stock up in Zagreb/Zadar!
