🇭🇺 Budapest Must-Try Restaurant for a Once-in-a-Lifetime Meal 🍴
✅Upon landing in Budapest, on my second day dealing with jet lag, I visited this newly Michelin-starred private kitchen. A friend recommended it as a must-try when in Budapest, and let me tell you, this friend is super reliable! 👍 Located on the first floor of an apartment building, the exterior is quite ordinary, but once you step inside, it’s like entering a hidden gem. ✅The chef and the host are friends/lovers, and they only have 5-6 tables, accommodating 12 people per night. The setup and atmosphere feel like dining at a friend’s house. The host mentioned they aim to create an inviting, homey feel. The kitchen and preparation area are open, allowing guests to walk up, observe, ask questions, and interact. ZINCENCO ✅They offer a five-course set menu (not including amuse-bouche and bread; dessert is served as two small portions), with optional wine or soft drink pairings. All beverages are house-made. Each dish comes with an inspirational introduction and some fun interactions (for example, the chef said among the pebbles in the welcome amuse-bouche, two are edible, warning us to be careful with our teeth). ✅The entire experience lasted nearly five hours. We started at 7 PM and finished around 11 PM. Due to jet lag, by the third course, my eyes were struggling to stay open, and by dessert, I was almost dozing off over the table. So, I recommend visiting after you’ve adjusted to the local time to fully enjoy the experience. Reservations are a must, and many tables are booked a month in advance (including ours). It’s all based on mutual trust, with no deposit required. #RestaurantRecommendation #FineDining #MichelinExperience #Budapest #PrivateKitchen #AmbianceRestaurant #FoodieAdventures
