You know exactly which place I’m talking about – **Comme Chez Soi**. It’s unbeatable. This place hits the spot perfectly. With just one bite, I was over the moon 😊. It’s not easy to find a restaurant that can make you this happy. Even hot pot doesn’t bring this level of joy! ✨ I’ve tried all the famous foie gras spots in Budapest. Why does Comme Chez Soi stand out? Their foie gras is incredibly tender and smooth, with perfect cooking. Any more, and it would be overcooked; any less, and it would be underdone. The flavors are rich, with no gamey taste at all. It’s just aromatic, with a hint of apple sweetness and a subtle wine fragrance. The layers of flavor are truly impressive! ✨ And the seafood pasta! I’ve traveled to Portugal, Malta, Italy, and Spain this year – all coastal places with a variety of seafood pastas. But I still love Comme Chez Soi’s the most. It’s not the dry, cheese-heavy Italian style, nor is it like the Spanish paella-style. There are no strange spices. It’s just perfect for my taste buds. The pasta is rich and aromatic, but not greasy. It’s not just a few pieces of seafood on a large plate. The portion is generous, and they even have chili powder on the table, which enhances the flavor even more. ✨ The waiter can say “foie gras apple,” “seafood pasta,” and “very delicious” in Chinese. When you arrive, they ask your nationality and greet you in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. They also help with your coat, offer a complimentary appetizer, and say “a little gift.” After the meal, they give you a small glass of Tokaji wine and a scoop of ice cream. This time, since we ordered tiramisu for dessert, we only got the wine, not the ice cream. I saw other tables enjoying it and had to ask later. But no big deal. When I paid with a Hungarian card, they said “thank you” in Hungarian. When we left, they said “thank you” and “goodbye” in Chinese. It made me really happy! 😄 After a small glass of Tokaji, I felt a bit tipsy. There was already a line of people waiting to get in. ✨ Seafood pasta + apple foie gras + tiramisu + two glasses of juice + one bottle of water + service fee came to a total of 31,280 HUF.
