🇮🇸 One-Day Trip to Akureyri, Iceland 🌿
✔️ Brynja 🍦 🌿 Icelandic yogurt is famous for its high-quality milk. ❤️Icelanders love holding a handmade ice cream in the snowy weather, and with such premium dairy ingredients, ❤️it’s hard to find bad ice cream anywhere—whether from a gas station freezer or a soft-serve machine. 🌿 Brynja is the representative ice cream shop in the north, and it has now opened a branch in Reykjavík (though not in the city center). ❤️ 🧊The texture here is truly unique—somewhere between a milkshake and cheese. Even my fitness-obsessed teammate, who usually avoids sweets, couldn’t resist taking several bites. A must-try!!!🧊 ✔️ North66 Outlet 🧥 🌿 The "Arc'teryx of the North," and the cheapest place in all of Iceland. Note: It’s not the one on the main street! 🧊You’ll need to navigate to 【Skipagata 9, 600 Akureyri】. Go early in the morning and take your time—you’ll find plenty of great deals!🧊 ✔️ Heart-Shaped Traffic Lights 🚥 🌿 One of Akureyri’s most iconic features, located on the main street. 🧊Walk to the intersection facing the snow-capped mountains, and you’ll spot them. 🧊 Here, you’ll also find dressed-up trash bins 🧶—super cute and looking extra cozy with their high-quality knitted covers, showcasing the city’s unique charm.🌟 ✔️ Forest Lagoon ♨️ 🌿 A must-visit hot spring!!! This place has an incredible atmosphere, with little stone tables lit by lanterns 💡. 🌟The drinks are visually stunning, and the water has a faint transparent green hue, giving it an infinity pool vibe. You can even enjoy views of the town while soaking.🌟 🌿 A friend chose this Airbnb called 【Villa Lolla】—the room’s aesthetic was absolutely stunning, 🌟with such a great vibe 😭. Every detail was photo-worthy, from the sofa and speakers to the lamps and the artwork on the walls. The room also had a kitchen, 🌆 🌆making it super convenient. Even as someone who doesn’t usually stay in Airbnbs, I was blown away. 🏨 🌿 In short, if you’re road-tripping around Iceland, make sure to set aside a day for Akureyri. This city is truly worth it! 🌆 #Akureyri #AkureyriHeartTrafficLights #IcelandTravel #IcelandHotSprings
