ā¤ļøWhen in Italy, I had to try some lasagna! I used to love the lasagna from Pizza Hut, but after trying this place, I realized I hadnāt truly experienced the good stuff beforeā¦ ā¤ļøI had planned to visit the popular Trattoria Marione, but it wasnāt open yet when I got there, so I headed back to my hotel area. ā¤ļøOn a whim, I searched on Google Maps for a restaurant with a 4.6 rating and walked in without a reservation. Surprisingly, it turned out to be a delightful find! ā¤ļøThe lasagna was heavenlyāit literally melted in my mouth! There was an abundance of cheese and meat, which made any cheese lover ecstatic. It was incredibly satisfying and fragrant. This was my first time experiencing such a rich, large pasta sheet. (12 euros) ā¤ļøI also ordered the vegetable soup on a whim (because it was cheap) and it tasted like it had pickled mustard greens. (Who knew they had these in Italy?) The flavor was actually quite good. (9 euros) ā¤ļøFor dessert, I had tiramisu. Since I havenāt tried it elsewhere, I thought this one was decent. The ladyfingers had a cake-like texture, and the top layer of cream was quite thick, which felt a bit indulgent after a while, but the coffee flavor was strong and delightful. (I forgot the exact price, but it was under 10 euros) ā¤ļøI also ordered a second dish, the Angus beef burger, which was worth it. The patty was huge! Although Iām not a fan of barbecue flavors, my partner loved it and said it saved his life. (Around 20 euros) ā¤ļøThe service at the restaurant was also very warm and added to the overall experience. It felt like a cozy family restaurant. ā¤ļøIt was just the two of us, so we didnāt dare order too much, but Iām sure the other dishes are also great. ā¤ļøAlso, I discovered a new way to eat. Since I had been eating too much meat and carbs and my stomach was feeling a bit overwhelmed, I bought salad ingredients, a small bottle of olive oil, and salt from the nearby Conad City supermarket and mixed them in the restaurant. They also had these condiments available for use. š Trattoria Bondi If you canāt get into the trendy spots, give this place a try.
