Pasta and the single glass of wine was delicious....but that's all I got (and I'm pretty sure it wasn't the right order but it was good and why bother) upon finishing I kept waiting to be addressed or even much like other restaurants that will automatically offer me a dessert menu once taking away my empty plate. I was still hungry guys, but not enough to beg or play the game of waving my arms to flag you down. There's was only like 6 or so tables with people at them in the whole place and I was literally right near the serving station (I guess I didn't warrent an outdoor seat lol) so....shame. Such a shame. But I saved (more than) a few bucks and went to the grocery store for some snack/dessert items. I had a €50+ steak dinner the night before, so FYI, single seat doesn't always mean low money, just like the table of 4 ordering only various beverages added up to the same cost of my food and wine 🤷♀️ which somehow still came to €24.... oh well. Just another casualty of how a single seat in Italy seems to be treated half the time, now. I was just looking forward to having a real meal since all I'd eaten today was a sandwich due to a packed schedule....on the bright side, I've lost weight since I've been...
Read moreAbsolutely beautiful in all aspects. My brother and i went there last saturday for our last meal in Firenze and it was the best decision we made.
We both had spaghetti, but mine had wild boar ragu. I've been hunting wild boars for years and i know how difficult it is to cook it right, and this was probably the best wild boar i've ever had. It was so tender and very strong in flavour, just so perfectly cooked it almost made me cry. Props to the cooks! Then we had tiramisu for dessert and same story. It was so good.
Service was fast and very good, got seated immediately as soon as we stepped on the restaurant's floor.
Apart from all the food, we had 2 bottles of water and 2 small bags of bread, and it was just 44€! Very reasonable price for the quality and quantity that you get. Definitely a must visit...
Read moreOur Favorite restaurant in Florence. My husband and I loved their bread (oh my god best bread in Italy), and pretty much everything on the menu. We appreciated how kind the service was, how delicious and reasonably priced the food was, and how the restaurant hours actually worked with when we were hungry! Sorry Italy, but if I’m hungry at 4-6 pm I get grouchy. This restaurant was open all day. We were in Florence for 2 days and came here twice- we loved it that much. Thanks for making us feel at home! 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting an unpretentious, reasonable priced, AMAZING meal with...
