Restaurant Name: Cicchetteria Ristorante Casa Fortuna Address: Corte Bettini, 14, 30174 Venezia VE Tucked away in the heart of Mestre, the restaurant is a standalone two-story villa—you’ll need to park and walk in. The ground floor serves cicchetti (Italian tapas) and aperitifs, while the second floor is a seafood-focused dining space. The menus, decor, and service styles are completely different between the two levels! Sometimes they offer off-menu seafood based on daily catches—during our visit, we got a whole turbot grilled with potatoes and carciofi (artichokes). The oysters in the raw seafood platter 🦪 were mind-blowing: insanely sweet, fresh, and so delicious we immediately ordered four more! Talk about a seafood feast 🤤 Not only is every dish Instagram-worthy, but the prices are shockingly affordable for the quality.
