Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น I officially declare: This is the BEST restaurant in Venice! ๐Ÿ†

Name: Hostaria Vite Rossa ๐Ÿ“ Located near the Hilton in Mestre (at Popolo station). (PS: The Hilton is well-located โ€“ buses right outside go to the main island/airport โœˆ๏ธ, rooms are huge ~50mยฒ+, though breakfast is just okay ๐Ÿฅ) ๐Ÿฆž Lobster Pasta: Absolutely incredible! ๐Ÿ The whole lobster was fresh and springy, served with linguine in a sweet-tomato sauce that was rich but not heavy. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Grilled Seafood Platter (staff recommendation): Includes lobster (a bit dry grilled โ€“ better in the pasta), mantis shrimp, scampi ๐Ÿฆ, grilled fish ๐ŸŸ, octopus, squid ๐Ÿ™, and veggies. Simple cooking, amazing flavor! ๐Ÿ™ Octopus Salad: Delicious with a uniquely fantastic sauce. ๐ŸŸ Tuna Tartare: Tender and fresh โ€“ I prefer tuna over salmon (less fatty). No wasabi, but paired perfectly with olive oil, vinegar, and bread. ๐Ÿฅ– ๐Ÿ’ถ We indulged freely โ€“ ended up around โ‚ฌ350 per person. Compared to Italian restaurants in Shanghai at similar prices, this was on another level! Bella Napoli? Underwhelming. Suzieโ€™s โ‚ฌ700 lobster pasta? Doesnโ€™t even come close. Even the โ€œWestern foodโ€ I tried in Sydney and Christchurch left me questioning lifeโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿด Conclusion: If you want real Italian food โ€“ you HAVE to come to Italy! Magic on a plate! โœจ #ItalianCuisine #FoodNoBorders #GlobalEats #WesternFood #StudentFoodie #VeniceEats ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น
