🇮🇹 Sharing Delicious Sichuan Food in Verona! “Ru Yi”

💗This restaurant is called “Ru Yi”, a Chinese eatery in Verona. We arrived around 8:40 PM, and the place was packed—almost full. Luckily, we had made a reservation by phone earlier. 🌈We started with the boiled beef in chili oil—full of flavor and aroma as soon as it arrived. The meat was tender, and we highly recommend it! It’s quite spicy though. 🍸The mapo tofu was absolutely delicious! A must-try. For appetizer, we had the mouthwatering chicken—incredibly tasty with lots of crushed peanuts and a well-balanced sauce. 💐We also ordered a bowl of red oil wontons. The dumplings were freshly made, but the portion was surprisingly small—only four pieces served neatly on a plate. 🍹Then we tried the crispy duck—this one we do not recommend. The duck had a strong unpleasant odor, and it was neither fragrant nor crispy. It was simply inedible. ❌ 🥯Lastly, we had the sweet and sour pork (Gu Lao Rou). We originally wanted a sweet dish to balance the spiciness, but it was overly greasy and left us feeling almost nauseous. Overall, we do not recommend these two dishes. #Italy #SichuanCuisine #ChineseFood #Verona
