🇮🇹 That Hard-to-Book Vibe Italian Bistro in LA

I’ve been dreaming about this place for over a year — and finally got in! Reservations are nearly impossible unless you snag a last-minute cancelation. This time, I showed up before opening to wait for a walk-in spot 🕒 The cozy space filled up fast — everyone chatting, clinking glasses 🥂 — that authentic Italian enoteca vibe is just chef’s kiss 🇮🇹 That said, maybe my expectations were too high — the food was good, but not mind-blowing. Here’s what we tried: 🍞 Garlic Bread Crispy on the outside, soft inside, soaked in garlic oil and loaded with herbs. Topped with a thick layer of Parmesan — solid start! 🦐 Shrimp Scampi Plump shrimp in a rich, savory garlic butter sauce. Perfect for dipping that garlic bread into! 🍝 Spaghetti & Clams A bright, citrusy pasta with Manila clams — plump and sweet. A squeeze of lemon + chilled white wine = instant trip to the Southern Italian coast 🏝️ 🍗 Chicken Parmesan A bit different than expected — moist chicken, but the coating wasn’t crispy. Felt a bit soggy… maybe the fry temp was off? 🍝 Lasagna Rollatini Classic, comforting, and cheesy — not a huge portion, but the rich meat sauce and melted tomato-cheese combo hit the spot when served hot! 🏠 Donna’s 📍 1538 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026 #DonnasLA #LAItalian #EnotecaVibes #HardToGetIn #LosAngelesEats #CozySpot
