🇮🇹 Turin Travel Guide (Transportation, Food & Attractions)
🇮🇹 Turin is a city in northern Italy, located southeast of the Alps, boasting numerous cultural facilities and other attractions. It’s not far from Lyon—just a 4-hour Flixbus ride away. 🚃 Transportation It’s recommended to download the TO Move app and purchase a daily bus pass. Simply scan the QR code from the app when boarding. The main modes of transportation in the city are buses and trams. 🍽️ Food 1️⃣ Northeastern Chinese Restaurant Extremely good value (especially compared to Lyon). Three dishes and one soup for two people cost only €33. Located near the train station. Address: Via Saluzzo, 5e, 10125 Torino TO 2️⃣ Xi Ramen a Mano The noodles are pleasantly chewy, but note that there’s a €1 seating fee. Address: Via Cernaia, 22a, 10122 Torino TO 3️⃣ Mano Po A delicious fried chicken spot near the train station with unique sauces. Address: C.so Vittorio Emanuele II, 32, 10123 Torino TO 4️⃣ Xiaoshiwu Trattoria Cinese Also near the train station, perfect for breakfast, barbecue, and various snacks. Address: Via Saluzzo, 1c, 10125 Torino TO 📍 Attractions 1️⃣ Mole Antonelliana + National Cinema Museum This 19th-century building is one of the city’s few high points. You can take an elevator to the top of the spire for a stunning panoramic view of the city. Below the spire is the National Cinema Museum, which covers the principles and history of film and displays posters, photos, and props from famous movies. It’s highly engaging! 2️⃣ Royal Palace of Turin A royal palace showcasing sculptures, furniture, and more. One room features a beautifully designed dome that looks especially dazzling in the afternoon sunlight. There’s also a section displaying artifacts related to China, likely brought over through ancient trade exchanges. 3️⃣ Egyptian Museum I heard it has many Egyptian exhibits, but unfortunately, I didn’t book tickets in advance, and they were sold out on the day I visited. 4️⃣ National Automobile Museum I didn’t visit because I’d already been to the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans Museum in France. If you’re interested in cars, though, it’s highly recommended! 5️⃣ Other Attractions If you have extra time, you can also explore places like the Juventus Stadium, Piazza San Carlo, Porta Palatina, Palazzo Madama, and Valentino Castle. #Europe #Italy #France #Turin #Alps #Travel #Guide #StudyAbroad #Holiday 🌍✨
