Venice under the blazing sun is seriously hot ☀️ We arrived at 2 PM and almost got sunburned to a crisp! ⚠️ Wear sunscreen!!! I feel like I’ve tanned three shades already 🙏 🔴 Island Entry Fee is Now Enforced 🎫 Book tickets here: https://cda.ve.it If you’re staying at a B&B on the island, entry is free — but you still need to register online! Some off-island accommodations also offer free access — make sure to ask your host 🙋‍♀️ 🔴 Photo Tips 2 PM - 5 PM sunlight is super harsh — really hard to take good photos 😭 We regretted arriving so early! Since it gets dark around 8 PM now, you have plenty of time. Strongly recommend shooting during sunset 📷 — the light and sky are gorgeous! 💡 Wear white or red dresses or outfits 👗 — they pop so well against Venice’s scenery! Just looking at tourists on the streets, white and red stand out the most 👍 🔴 Recommended Spots 📍 Rialto Bridge So grand — you can capture amazing panoramic views from both sides 🤩 📍 St. Mark’s Square Area If you’re short on time, head straight here — perfect for sunset and evening glow 💜 📍 The Small Alleys So many charming lanes — great for casual photos, like all these other shots 😺 📍 Venice at Night 💫 Okay not gonna lie — at night it really feels more like Wuzhen 😅 🔴 Food on the Island 🍽️ 📍 Artigianale Gelato with tons of flavors — only €2 per scoop 🍦 📍 Avoid Osteria Ai Do Gobbi Gotta admit the restaurant is pretty, especially the outdoor seating… But!
