🇯🇵 Tokyo, Ginza, Tsukiji

🎨 (With architectural check-in spots) If you come to Ginza, don't forget to visit the nearby Tsukiji area as well, where a plethora of historical buildings offers a different experience of Tokyo. Here are some recommended architectural check-in spots: 1️⃣ Tsukiji Honganji: A branch temple of Kyoto's Nishi Honganji, the architectural design is inspired by various South Asian temples, mainly Indian ones. It's quite large and you can visit inside, where there's also a huge organ. 📌 104-8435, 3-15-1 Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 2️⃣ Tsukiji Church ⛪️: Established in 1874 and rebuilt in 1927, it is the first Catholic church in Tokyo, a wooden masonry building in the style of the Doric order. You can go inside to see it. 📌 104-0044, 5-26 Akashi-cho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 3️⃣ Izu no Miya Gallery: What left a deep impression on me was the green scales on the building, resembling fish scales, which seem to be a style from a certain region. There are a few similar buildings on the adjacent streets, but this one is well-preserved and restored. 📌 2 Chome-4-8 Shintomi, Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0041 4️⃣ MUSEE GINZA: Now an art gallery, to quote a review: "The building's walls are covered with decorative tiles, which look very beautiful. It is said that it once fell into ruins, but when you see it carefully restored and located in the prime Ginza Showa-dori area, you can feel its beloved status." 📌 104-0061, Ginza, 1-20-17, Chuo City, Tokyo, Kawasaki Brand Design Building 5️⃣ GINZA KABUKIZA: Kabukiza Tower, this building is quite impressive because below is a large traditional-style building, a grand theater, but when you look up, there is a huge skyscraper on top, creating an exaggerated visual impact and a large volume that can catch your eye from a distance. 📌 104-0061, 4-12-15 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Kabukiza Tower 6️⃣ Ginza 5-chome: The whole street is filled with modern architecture, suitable for walking tours. 📌 104-0061, 5-13-15 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 7️⃣ Tsukiji Outer Market: A seafood market, no introduction needed here, shop and eat at the same time, but remember to go early, as the vendors close up by two or three in the afternoon. It's recommended to go in the morning. A shrine with two big lion heads nearby is also worth a visit. 📌 104-0045, Tsukiji 4-chome and part of 6-chome, Chuo-ku, Tokyo #CulturalLandscapes #UrbanPhotography #Humanities #JapanTravel #StudyInJapan #LifeInJapan
