As a first time traveller to Tokyo Japan,Matsuya was a great find. The Basement and level two basement are a foodies delight . I could have spent several more hours just exploring the mind-boggling options available. Cooked food, desserts, chocolates, a variety of tea and coffee, packaged food, it was super amazing. I needed to pick up some Japanese stuff like shiro miso and kombu and an elderly lady went out of her way to get it for me despite the language barrier. Matsuya Ginza is a must visit. I wish someone had recommended it to me earlier so that I could have spent more time.
