The moment we crossed into Wasserbillig, announcements switched from German to French (RIP my forgotten French skills 😂). 🚆 Highlights Free transport nationwide! Hopped on the iconic tram right outside the station. Stunning views from Pont Adolphe, with autumn hues framing the city’s canyon. Pfaffenthal Elevator (free!)—rode down to the valley, hiked back up, and took the tram to the station. No passport checks on the return to Germany. 💸 Reality Check "Rich country, rich prices": Meals start at €20+ (vs. Germany’s €10 Döner 🥲). 2-3 hours is enough to see the essentials—Luxembourg is tiny!
