šŸ‡²šŸ‡½ Tulum's Hartwood Restaurant - Absolutely Delicious!

We came specifically for their famous seafood, even though my boyfriend and I decided last-minute without a reservation. We arrived around 5:30 PM, and the place was already packed. Luckily, the hostess said there was a gap between two reservations and let us in—no wait time! Truly a stroke of luck! Honestly, the food here was so good it moved me to tears. šŸ½ļø What We Ordered: 1ļøāƒ£ Ceviche in a Coconut Shell 🄄 Fresh raw fish with tropical fruits and coconut water, served in an actual coconut (Caution: Avoid if you don’t like raw fish or have a sensitive stomach!) 2ļøāƒ£ Fish Neck 🐟 Unbelievably tender, zero fishy smell—so fresh we ate it with our hands! 3ļøāƒ£ Grilled Octopus šŸ™ Thick octopus legs (thicker than a thumb!) stacked like a mountain—three layers! Huge portion—my boyfriend and I were silently devouring it. Came with delicious roasted potatoes underneath. šŸ’° Price & Warnings: Total: $3,200 MXN (a bit pricey for two). āš ļø Watch out for: 18% service charge already included (we didn’t notice and double-tipped… ouch šŸ’”). Water isn’t free! 160 MXN per glass (refills cost another 160). Expensive parking: 150 MXN for 4 hours. Credit card scam risk! Use cash if possible—our card got stolen after using it here (only place we used it in Mexico). šŸ“ Details: šŸ“Œ Address: Carretera Tulum-Boca Paila KM 7.5 šŸ’µ Price per person: ~1,600 MXN (~$100 USD) ā° Hours: 5:30 PM - 11:00 PM Final Verdict: The food is next-level amazing, but hidden fees and scams lurk everywhere—bring cash and check your bill carefully! #MexicanCuisine #TulumEats #FoodieTravel #TravelTips #MustTry
