🇵🇭 Boracay's Sunset Will Absolutely Amaze You! 🌅

I thought Boracay would be overly commercialized, but it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The white, powdery sand is incredibly beautiful, and the sunset views are truly unforgettable – a memory that will stay with me forever. We flew from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, via Manila to Caticlan, then took a boat to Boracay. After arriving, we booked a van transfer from the port to our hotel through Klook. Although the journey was long, it was totally worth it! ✈️⛴️ 💡 Travel Tips: 🛫 For budget travelers: Compare flight prices. Sometimes flying to Kalibo (instead of Caticlan) from Manila is cheaper. Though it’s a longer ride, it can save you money. 🚤 Consider combo transfers (boat + van) available on Klook or locally for better deals. 👨‍👩‍👧 If traveling with kids, try to book daytime flights for smoother connections and less fatigue. 🍽️ The island has many restaurants – don’t miss local food stalls! Cheap and delicious. Highly recommend Jonah’s Fruit Shake 🍹– affordable and refreshing! We stayed at a hotel in Station 2 with direct beach access from the back. However, the area gets quite dark at night, so it’s safer and livelier to enter the beach via the main road through D’Mall. 👍 Must-Try: Cocomama & Jonah’s Fruit Shake & Snack Bar – you can’t miss these! 🤿 Diving Experience: We chose a smaller dive shop – Fisheye Divers Boracay, near our hotel. Though small, it was well-equipped and offered great service. I dived with dive master Toni, and instructor Roy was incredibly attentive 🦸‍♂️. Once, I almost got stung by a nearly invisible jellyfish, but Roy quickly pushed me away – lifesaver! He also prepared a special ointment for my previous sting – so thoughtful! 💬 Tip: Many dive staff earn low wages and support families. If you receive good service, consider tipping – it means a lot to them. On non-diving days, Roy introduced us to a friend – a former dive instructor who now does island tours – to make sure we weren’t overcharged. He arranged island hopping for us and was very kind and reliable 🏝️👌. 🌊 Safety Tip: Remember to bring anti-sting cream or wear a stinger suit to avoid jellyfish encounters. Better safe than sorry! Overall, Boracay’s beach is stunningly white and beautiful. Though a bit commercialized, the sunsets are absolutely magical and totally worth it 🌴❤️. Even if you’re traveling with kids or on a budget, with good planning, you can have a beautiful and meaningful trip! #Boracay #PhilippinesTravel #IslandLife #SunsetLovers #Diving #BudgetTravel #TravelTips
