🇷🇸 Serbian Food Restaurant Recommendations 🍴

🗺️ Belgrade Savski Venac (Birčaninova 16a, Beograd 11000) A traditional Serbian cuisine restaurant featuring a grilled meat platter, perfect for those wanting to experience Serbian barbecue. The taste is great, but Serbian dishes tend to be salty, so it's recommended to order a salad on the side. Wang's Sauerkraut Fish Chinese Restaurant (Ruzveltova 3, Beograd) After eating salty barbecue, craving Chinese food is real! This place serves generous portions, and the hostess is very friendly. We visited twice with eight people, and we ordered seven or eight dishes like hungry wolves, leaving nothing behind. The average cost per person was less than 100, with strong recommendations for boiled beef, sauerkraut fish, spicy chicken, and sour and spicy soup. No dishes were disappointing. Restoran Stara Vrba (Japanska, Beograd) Located in Novi Beograd, this is also a traditional barbecue restaurant with a similar taste to the one in photo 2. The portions are really, really large and also on the salty side. Madera (Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 43) At this place, you can order pasta and risotto. It's recommended to make a reservation and try Serbia's traditional apricot brandy. Bella Napoli kod Garića (Restoran Pizzeria, Zmaj Jovina 35) A traditional Italian restaurant where the pizza and chicken were just average. The tiramisu was too sweet for my taste, perhaps because I'm not used to the flavor. It looks quite authentic, though. Located in the Zemun town, suitable for dining after watching the swans. 🗺️ Novi Sad Kafe Restoran Maša (Zmaj Jovina 4, Novi Sad) On the pedestrian street, everything is delicious, no minefields when ordering blind. The Caesar salad is particularly tasty, and the cocktails are also good when ordered blind. It's perfect for sitting outside, roasting by the fire, and enjoying a drink. 🗺️ Kopaonik La Pista Next to the ski resort with a big signboard, the steak and pasta are both good, a bit pricey. Villa Zvončica The breakfast set is a large portion, well worth it. Dolly Bell Kopaonik The steak rice is delicious, no minefields when ordering blind. Located right in the middle of the ski resort, the freshly squeezed juice ordered is also good to drink. ⚠️: Except for Madera, reservations are not needed for the above restaurants, but many restaurants in Serbia require reservations!
