Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade

It never occurred to me that Nikola Tesla was actually a Serbian-American inventor and electrical engineer ⚡. Born in 1856 into a Serbian family, he passed away in New York in 1943 at the age of 86. Throughout his life, Tesla held over 300 patents—what a genius! 🧠 In 2004, Elon Musk named his electric car company Tesla in honor of this brilliant scientist. 🚗💨 The Tesla Museum is located in a charming yellow villa 🏡 surrounded by flowers 🌸 in central Belgrade. The entrance fee is 800 dinars (cash only, local currency 💵). Due to limited space (max 60 visitors at a time), entry is organized in timed group tours. Tours are available in Serbian or English—be sure to confirm the language when purchasing tickets! 🎟️ The visit begins with a 15-minute documentary 🎥 about Tesla’s life, followed by a guide demonstrating some of his groundbreaking inventions ⚙️. During the free exploration period, don’t miss the golden urn containing Tesla’s ashes—a truly moving sight. ✨ Though Tesla achieved his greatest successes abroad, Serbia proudly honors him—his portrait graces the 100-dinar banknote 💰, a fitting tribute to the man often called "the closest thing to a god on Earth." 🌍⚡ #BalkanTravel ✈️ #SerbiaTravel 🇷🇸
