🇸🇪 Hidden Gem of Sweden – A Day Trip in Kiruna
I only stayed one night in Kiruna before heading to Narvik, and I chose Camp Hotel specifically for its famous spa—and it totally lived up to the hype! 💆♀️ The spa has indoor and outdoor pools, dry saunas and steam saunas. They even offer volcanic mud masks and foot soaks, plus a -20°C ice bath right next to the outdoor hot spring. I was getting ready to try the ice bath when I saw a lady stay in it for at least 5 minutes like it was no big deal. But when I got in myself? I finally understood what “torture” feels like! 😂 Even though I only stayed one night, I was super lucky—I saw both the Northern Lights and nacreous clouds (mother-of-pearl clouds)! My only regret? Not bringing snow gear to hit the free ski slope nearby. For lunch, I had fast food with reindeer and moose meat. You can sit in a tent next to the food truck—it’s cozy and nicely decorated. The venison was amazing: onions, bacon, and butter cooked the meat to perfection. I even ordered a second plate of meat! 🥩 #travel #Kiruna #KirunaAurora #KirunaFood #SwedenTravel #NorthernLights #NacreousCloudSpectacle #InternationalStudentLife #SpaExperience
