Since youโre already hereโฆ How could you not visit the dazzling palace from all those Thai dramas? ๐๐๏ธ The Grand Palace is mainly composed of four major areas: the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall, Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and Phra Thinang Borom Phiman Palace. Oh, and by the wayโ the main palace buildings arenโt open to the public! ๐ฑ๐ ๐บ๏ธ Main Tour Route: โช๏ธ Temple of the Emerald Buddha โ โช๏ธ Chakri Maha Prasat Hall โ โช๏ธ Dusit Maha Prasat Hall ๐ Temple of the Emerald Buddha: This area showcases relics, architectural elements preserved from renovations, items used to worship the Emerald Buddha, statues, and objects related to the king. ๐ฟ๐๏ธ ๐ Dusit Maha Prasat Hall: Mainly used for national ceremonies, and itโs where funerals for the King, Queen, and other royal family members are held. ๐๐ ๐ Chakri Maha Prasat Hall: The largest hall in the Grand Palace, built by King Rama V in 1876 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Bangkok dynasty. โChakriโ means โlordโ or โsovereign,โ and the building combines a European base with a Thai-style pointed roof. ๐๏ธโจ ๐ซ Tickets: 500 THB (includes Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the Grand Palace, and the Teak Palace) ๐ฐ Opening Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (best to allow about 2 hours for the full tour) ๐ Subway Station: Samam Chai, Exit 2 ๐ค Tour Guide: Online ticket with commentary 150 RMB ~ 500-600 THB at the entrance The Grand Palace is seriously HUGE! ๐คฏ The first time I visited, I got lost ๐ .
