🇺🇸🍽️ Must-Eat in Louisville | Mima’s Amazing Cuban Cuisine
When in Louisville, don’t just watch horse races and drink bourbon – try the food too! 🐎🥃 Mima’s Cuban restaurant came highly recommended by locals, and it did NOT disappoint! From the retro exterior to the nostalgic decor, it teleports you straight to 1950s Havana. 🇨🇺✨ ❤️ Camarones al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp) Unpronounceable name, UNFORGETTABLE flavor! 🍤🧄 Buttery, lime-infused garlic sauce with tender shrimp – a MUST-order! ❤️ Pescado Crujiente (Fried Fish) Thick, crispy-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside fish fillet 🐟🔥, served with salsa and avocado salad – PERFECTION! Another must-try! ❤️ Mojito Their mojitos are strong, stylish, and sensational! We tried the piña colada version 🍍🥥 – topped with coconut shreds and sugarcane, max Caribbean vibes! 🏝️ ✅ Arroz Imperial (Cuban Baked Chicken & Rice) A classic Cuban bake – yellow rice with roasted chicken, cheese, and bell peppers! 🧀🍚 The chicken was juicy but not the tenderest (avocado sauce helped!). Worth a try. ✅ Cuban Flan Rich caramel custard with piña colada ice cream 🍮🍦 – decadent but very filling. I kinda regretted not ordering the chocolate cigar! 😅 ✅ Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) 📍 La Bodeguita de Mima (Featured on Eater Louisville’s Must-Try List!) 💲 Price: ~$50 per person (with drinks) #LouisvilleEats #CubanFood #FoodieReview #Kentucky #TravelFood #MojitoMagic 🎉🍹
