πΊπΈο½ Honest Review: Kimpton Palomar Beverly Hills π¨
Conclusion: This hotel is fantastic β but so hard to book! Trying to reserve a full week is nearly impossible. I had to switch hotels after a few nights. π Please, just lookβ¦ but donβt actually book it. Donβt make it even harder for me to secure a room β Iβm already struggling to buy eggs in the Bay Area! π₯π Rating: 4.0/5.0 β After my not-so-great experience at Kimpton Wilshire (letβs just call it the "failed stay" π©), I switched to Kimpton Palomar β and it was a game-changer! π Location Situated in Westwood, just west of Beverly Hills. While not as central as "that other hotel," it's still super convenient β within 3 miles of Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, and much quieter. ππ³ π¨ Amenities & Facilities I booked a Skyline View Room β total with tax + amenities fee: $324/night (cheaper than the other one!). For that price, the value is impressive: 20-story building, well-maintained, stylish boutique lobby ποΈ Spacious rooms fit a bed, desk, sofa, mini-bar, and even a yoga mat π§ Clean, comfortable bathroom πΏ Pool + fitness center + game room π± Every room comes with a yoga mat The skyline and city views are absolutely soothing πβ¨ π· Service & Perks Self-parking: $48/night | Valet: $68 (your choice β no pressure!) $35 nightly amenities fee includes: β’ $15 snack credit (try the protein shake/bar!) π₯€ β’ Free red/white wine (5β6 PM in the lobby) π· β’ Daily 2-mile Uber credit π β’ Beach chair rentals ποΈ β’ And more! βοΈ Breakfast Diamond members enjoy complimentary breakfast for two π³π§ Varied menu β different options each day over four days Best part: The voucher clearly states that tip is included β no surprise fees! β (Take notes, other hotelsβ¦) Overall, Kimpton Palomar offered a consistently great experience. As someone constantly "trained" by the U.S. hospitality industry π , Iβd rate it a solid 4.0/5.0. Itβs not the JW or Ritz β but for the price, itβs a gem! π #LAHotels #KimptonPalomar #BeverlyHills #Westwood #ValueStay #IHG #HotelHacks
