🇺🇸｜ Perfect Hotel for Hollywood Universal with Kids! ✌️

Traveling solo with my child, and location was everything — Sheraton Universal Hotel absolutely delivered! 📍 Prime Location Just a 5-minute walk to Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk! 🚶‍♀️🎬 The hotel also runs a shuttle bus every 15 minutes (shared with Hilton next door). We arrived at noon and got our room right away — no wait! ✅ 🛏️ Room & Amenities The room was a bit simpler than the one we had at Disney, but still comfortable and clean. On our floor: free water stations, a Starbucks, and a self-service mini-bar with snacks and drinks 🍫☕ They often handed out bottled water while waiting for the shuttle — such a nice touch! 💧❤️ Luggage storage is free, and we stayed on the 3rd floor (same level as the lobby) — super convenient. 🎡 CityWalk & Dining We explored CityWalk in the afternoon and found the famous Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. 🦐 Just like in the Forrest Gump movie — super fun for photos! 📸 We tried their signature drink (comes with a souvenir cup) and shrimp dishes — pretty tasty! 🎮 Park Tips Staying close allowed us to enter at 9 AM, head back to the hotel at 1 PM to rest, and return around 5–6 PM until closing at 10 PM. Pro tip: After 9 PM, wait times drop dramatically! 🕘 Mario Kart: <20 mins 🏎️ Transformers: ~10 mins 🤖 Mini-games in Super Nintendo World: no wait! My son had a blast — no long lines, no boredom! 😄 We also had brunch at Toadstool Cafe (no wait in the morning) and Minion Land the next day. 🧴 What to Bring Flip-flops / water shoes for splash areas 💦 Change of clothes Sunscreen 🧴 Jacket for windy evenings 🌬️ Your own toiletries & slippers (not provided in U.S. hotels) A well-located hotel + a smart park schedule = a smooth, fun-filled trip!
