🇺🇸 21/100: 100 Restaurants in Boston with My Boyfriend 💑
We discovered Carmelina's – a true gem in Boston's historic North End, serving some of the most soul-satisfying Italian food we've tried! 🐰🍝 This cozy, bustling spot radiates authentic Little Italy charm – checkered tablecloths, warm lighting, and the irresistible aroma of garlic and simmering sauces. We came on a weekday afternoon and skipped the lines – highly recommend timing your visit outside peak hours! Here’s what blew us away: Crazy Alfredo 🧀 – Their famous signature dish! Creamy, cheesy, packed with sausage, chicken, and peas. The pasta was perfectly al dente and soaked up all the rich flavor. Seafood Risotto 🦐🍚 – Loaded with fresh shrimp, scallops, and mussels in a savory tomato-based broth. Honestly rivals any Spanish restaurant’s version! Generous Portions 🍽️ – Huge servings! We left happily stuffed and even had leftovers. The vibe is lively, casual, and full of character – the kind of place where you just feel good sharing hearty food with someone you love. And at around $30 per person, it’s an incredible value for the quality and quantity. 📍307 Hanover St, Boston (in the heart of North End) 📦 Note: Headed back to China soon – so this series will pause for a bit 😢 But stay tuned… I’ll start sharing food adventures from there next! 🐱❤️ 21 down… 79 to go! Can’t wait to continue this journey when we’re back in Boston 💫 #BostonEats #ItalianFood #Carmelinas #NorthEndBoston #PastaLovers #DateNight #FoodieBoston
