Things to Do Before Leaving Boston: Eat Chewy Brazilian Bread
It’s actually only been a little over a year since I first tried Bom Dough, and I’ve only eaten there four times. But I really love its texture! Their Brazilian cheese bread sandwich is also simple and humble—egg, sausage, avocado—and the tomato cream soup comes with chewy gnocchi. By the way, their coffee and matcha are also among the better ones I’ve had. After eating, I stopped by nearby CambridgeSide. I’d only been here in summer before; today the lake was covered in snow ❄️. Every time I come to this mall, it feels a bit deserted and somehow sad. Even with the food court finally open, it hasn’t made the place much livelier. I also tried Far Out, which I’d been wanting to try for a while. They advertise “fresh fruit visible,” but when I saw them add that yellowish-green matcha powder, I knew it wouldn’t taste good 😭… Eating this made me really want to buy a Ninja Creami after moving, to make my own ice cream—but I’m afraid I wouldn’t finish a whole pint by myself. #BostonLife #FoodDiary #EatWellLiveWell #BostonFood #BostonDesserts #FoodieFarewell
