Tried Sugar & Spice – one of Boston’s long-time favorite Thai spots! 🦧🌶️ Unlike some of the more hyped-up viral picks, this place attracts a strong local crowd (mostly non-Asian diners) – and for good reason. The flavors are bold, authentic, and full of personality. Here’s what we ordered: Crispy Duck 🦆 – Tender, well-seasoned, and perfectly fried. Even tasted amazing reheated in the microwave later! Sakoo Sai Gai 🍙 – Think of it as Thai-style “pork-stuffed tapioca pearls” – chewy, savory, and slightly sweet. Like a deconstructed dim sum! Mango Sticky Rice 🥭 – Sadly, the rice was firm (not soft and coconut-infused as hoped). Skip this one. Cocktails 🍹 – A pleasant surprise! Their drinks are creative and well-balanced. We’ll be back to explore the full bar menu. The vibe is cozy and casual – great for groups, dates, or a solo comfort food escape. Located in Cambridge, it’s super accessible for students and locals alike.
