๐บ๐ธ 9/100: 100 Restaurants in Boston with My Boyfriend ๐
We visited Guan Lan Noodles on a softly falling snowy evening โ and the atmosphere was nothing short of enchanting! โ๏ธ๐ฎ The traditional decor, warm lighting, and view of the snow through the windows made it feel like a scene from a dream. However, when it came to the food, we found it to be a bit of a mixed experience. Honestly โ the appetizers outshone the noodles! ๐ข Hereโs what we tried: Tofu Appetizer ๐ซ Soft, delicate, and subtly seasoned. A simple but pleasing start. Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs ๐ Tangy, tender, and nicely balanced โ definitely a highlight! Lanzhou Beef Noodles ๐ Unfortunately, these were just okay. The broth lacked depth, and the noodles were softer than we prefer. Not bad, but not memorable. The environment is clean and pleasant with a calm, casual vibe โ great for a low-key meal. But based on the food alone, itโs probably a one-time visit unless youโre really in the neighborhood and craving Chinese noodles. ๐ 24 Pearl St, Cambridge (conveniently located near Central Square) 9 downโฆ 91 more food adventures to go with my favorite person! โค๏ธ #BostonEats #LanzhouNoodles #ChineseFood #CambridgeEats #SnowyDayEats #DateNight #BostonFoodie
