We visited Guan Lan Noodles on a softly falling snowy evening – and the atmosphere was nothing short of enchanting! ❄️🏮 The traditional decor, warm lighting, and view of the snow through the windows made it feel like a scene from a dream. However, when it came to the food, we found it to be a bit of a mixed experience. Honestly – the appetizers outshone the noodles! 🍢 Here’s what we tried: Tofu Appetizer 🫘 Soft, delicate, and subtly seasoned. A simple but pleasing start. Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs 🍖 Tangy, tender, and nicely balanced – definitely a highlight! Lanzhou Beef Noodles 🍜 Unfortunately, these were just okay. The broth lacked depth, and the noodles were softer than we prefer. Not bad, but not memorable. The environment is clean and pleasant with a calm, casual vibe – great for a low-key meal.
