Arrival & BBQ Feast Landed at MCI on Wednesday and headed straight to Jack Stack BBQ (a local legend!). "Pick Three" Platter: Massive portionsāenough for 3! We chose pork ribs, lamb ribs, and beef burnt ends (solid, but not mind-blowing). Surprise Star: The creamed corn! š½ (And the salad won over my momās friend.) šļø Exploring KCās Icons Union Station: Once the railroad heart of the Midwest, now a bustling hub with shops, exhibits (like a Christmas pop-up!), and kid-friendly fun. Crown Center: Shopping + dining galore, connected by covered walkways (perfect for winter!). Hallmark Museum: A sweet dive into KCās greeting-card legacy. š šāāļø Frozen Morning Run 18K along Indian Creek Trail: Scenic, gently rolling, and so cold my shoes froze stiff š„¶. (Distracted by the cold? Maybe thatās why it felt easy!) š¦ Thanksgiving Highlights Smoked Turkey 101: Watched a white turkey turn golden in the smokerāmesmerizing! DIY Grill Party: Veggie skewers, salmon, and lamb charred to perfection with gasoline-lit flames (wild, right?). Country Club Plaza Lighting Ceremony: Crowds, live music, acrobatsāthen BOOM!
