Kansas City Travel Diary (Part 1) ✈️

Trying to casually document my little getaway~ Originally, SY and I planned a trip to NYC (hello, Met Museum! 🖼️), but after crunching numbers, our budget screamed "NO!" 💸 So we opted for Kansas City—just a *1-hour flight* away. And guess what? It’s been unexpectedly amazing so far! When our Uber driver asked why we were visiting, we cheerfully said, “Travel! Vacation!” 🎉 His reaction? “Kansas? …Really?” 😂 🏨 Hotel Vibes: Our lobby is actually the original living room of this historic mansion—complete with giant comfy couches that make you never want to move (perfect for lazy scrolling or reading). 📖✨ Bonus: The coffee table had a hidden box with a chapter from "Romance of the Three Kingdoms"—specifically the "Heroes Over Wine" scene! 🍶⚔️ 🍖 BBQ Heaven: Hit up a highly recommended spot, and oh. my. goodness. The ribs (pork, beef, AND lamb!) were insanely good—juicy, smoky, with just the right amount of gaminess in the lamb. 🐑🔥 We devoured two giant plates like starved wolves. 🐺💨 🍦 Dessert Mode: Too full for more food?
