๐บ๐ธ A Night at Caesars Atlantic City ๐๏ธ๐ฐ
Took a trip to Atlantic City and wanted to stay close to the Boardwalk, partly to reminisce about the Boardwalk Empire vibes (even though most of it wasnโt filmed here ๐). I used points to book a night at Caesars โ off-peak rates are pretty low, but I didnโt expect it to be so quiet that even the buffet was closed! ๐ฝ๏ธ๐ซ The afternoon I arrived was wet, windy, and foggy โ I ended up catching a chill almost instantly ๐ง๏ธ๐จ The newly renovated room was clean and comfortable, but the shampoo bottle was only about the size of a thumb โ seriously, how is that enough? ๐๐งด I swallowed my pride and called to ask for another oneโฆ and they actually brought me a whole bag full of shampoo and conditioner! ๐๐ Each floor has an ice maker and vending machines (at least I think every floor does!). Walking along the Boardwalk felt pretty melancholic โ a mix of closed-down shops and a few souvenir or clothing stores still hanging on. Just a handful of tourists and what looked like older folks whoโd gambled everything away ๐๐ฒ Maybe itโs better in the summerโฆ The next day, I cheered myself up with a few T-shirts from Ralph Lauren ๐๐๏ธ โ first-time visitors can get a coupon for an extra discount! #AtlanticCity #CaesarsPalace #BoardwalkVibes #TravelDiary
