๐บ๐ธ Boston's Classic Eatery - Second Visit!
๐ Restaurant: Boston Soup Dumplings Came back for another visit because I enjoyed it last time and wanted to try more noodle dishes! Still located on the iconic Allston food street! Brought a friend this time โ we ordered what two people could handle! Their portions are huge, and the value is absolutely fantastic! ๐ Hereโs my take on the four dishes we tried: ๐ Rainbow Soup Dumplings ๐๐๐๐๐ The classic rainbow dumplings! Each one bursts with soup, and while the fillings taste quite similar, they're all delicious! Paired with ginger and vinegar โ simply perfection! ๐ฅ ๐ฅ Spicy Chicken (Tengjiao Bobo Ji) ๐๐๐๐โจ You have to try this! As a cold dish, it's incredibly flavorful without being greasy. The veggies (potato, cauliflower, kelp, lettuce, wood ear mushrooms) are all perfectly crispy! The chicken breast is surprisingly tender! ๐ถ๏ธ ๐ฅ Spicy Noodles ๐๐๐๐ A delicious noodle dish packed with ingredients! Tastes very authentic, similar to what I had in China. The chili is fragrant but not too spicy โ wish it had more heat! Added a portion of braised pork intestines โ absolutely elevated the dish! ๐ ๐ฝ Pork Trotter Noodles ๐๐๐ Inspired by the drama? The pork trotters are braised, but the star is the incredibly flavorful broth! I drank every last drop! The pork could be more tender, though. ๐ Plus, thereโs almost no wait, and service is super fast! Having a warm bowl of noodles on a cold winter day is pure happiness! โ๏ธ๐ #Boston #InternationalStudent #StudyAbroad #BostonLife #BostonEats #BostonFoodGuide #BostonWeekend
