📍 Giacomo’s Boston – North End Located in Boston’s Little Italy Once named one of America’s Top 20 Italian restaurants 🏆 Cash only 💵 | Walk-in only ❗ Except right at opening, expect to wait 10-40 mins outside 🥶 🦑 Fried Calamari Not very hot or crispy when served… The squid itself was chewy, but overall it tasted like something from Olive Garden 😬 🍅 Caprese Salad Actually not bad! Classic combo of mozzarella and tomato with a well-balanced vinaigrette – not too acidic. 🐚 Shrimp & Scallops in Fra Diavolo Sauce You choose your seafood and sauce here. Went with the “spicy” Fra Diavolo – but it had zero spice, just tasted like tomato sauce 🍅 Seafood portion was small. Scallops were disappointing, but the shrimp were bouncy and fresh. Honestly… pretty basic. Even Providence’s Little Italy does it better. 💰 Price: ~$35 per person The vibe? Cramped, a bit dirty, no bar 🚫 Food was below average.
