Rest when tired, walk when energetic! ๐ Day 1 3:00 PM โ๏ธ Arrived in Boston 4:00 PM ๐ Checked into my sublet near Chinatown 6:00 PM ๐ด Wong Kok Congee & Bistro Claypot rice with crispy bottom ๐ + post-meal stroll + boba milk tea ๐ง Day 2 Museum & Food Marathon ๐๏ธ๐ด (I went full โspecial forces travelerโ mode this day ๐) 8:00 AM ๐ Took the subway 8:30 AM ๐ Harvard University Visited Harvard Yard + the famous John Harvard Statue 9:30 AM โ Tatte Bakery Pistachio croissant + coffee โจ Sat streetside watching students bike by ๐ดโ๏ธ 10:00 AM ๐ธ Harvard Museum of Natural History Used out-of-state student ID for discount โ $10 ticket Glass Flowers exhibit + animal skeletons ๐ฆด 11:30 AM ๐ Headed to MIT ๐ Stata Center ๐ Main campus + Charles River views 1:00 PM ๐๏ธ Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Student ticket $15 โ stunning Italian courtyard garden ๐ 2:30 PM ๐จ Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) Grabbed a salad at the cafรฉ ๐ฅ โ made it just in time for the Van Gogh exhibit! 5:00 PM ๐๏ธ Quick nap back at the sublet 6:00 PM ๐ Headed to North End ๐ฆ Neptune Oyster โ waited 1 hour, totally worth it! Fresh oysters (multiple varieties) ๐ฆช Cioppino risotto โ rich and flavorful 8:00 PM ๐ Evening walk at Fan Pier Park Harbor views + city lights โ perfect way to unwind ๐ Day 3 A relaxed morning walking the Freedom Trail ๐ถโ๏ธ 9:00 AM โ George Howell Coffee Iced coffee to start the day right ๐ง 9:30 AM ๐ Freedom Trail Lite Version Boston Common Massachusetts State House Granary Burying Ground 10:15 AM ๐ต Ogawa Coffee Houjicha Latte โ so aromatic! 11:00 AM ๐ฆ Lukeโs Lobster Lobster roll โ packed with meat, so good! 11:30 AM ๐ Headed back โ off to the airport 2:00 PM โ๏ธ Flight out Even with just two full days, I felt I got a great taste of Bostonโelite universities, history, architecture, and amazing food.
