๐บ๐ธ Boston Hunan Food Heaven! Keep Coming Back After N Visits~ ๐
Iโve tried quite a few Chinese restaurants in Boston, and My Happy Hunan Kitchen really never disappoints. The flavors are just like what youโd get back home โ so authentic that itโs basically become my go-to canteen โ ๐ A bit far out, but accessible via the Green Line ๐ Name: My Happy Hunan Kitchen Address: 1926 Beacon St, Brighton, MA 02135 ๐ซ Smacked Green Pepper, Eggplant & Century Egg ๐๐๐๐๐ A classic Hunan dish! Served with whole peppers, eggplant, and century egg โ you get to โsmashโ them together yourself, which is super fun. The century egg is soft and flavorful, and the combination of all three is incredibly addictive and perfect with rice! ๐ณ Pork Floss & Salted Egg Tofu ๐๐๐๐ This one leans slightly sweet โ similar to crab roe tofu but with salted egg yolk and pork floss. The tofu is silky, and the pork floss adds a savory aroma โ delicious on its own or over rice. ๐ฅฉ Stir-Fried Yellow Beef ๐๐๐๐๐ The beef is wok-fried to fragrant perfection โ thinly sliced, well-seasoned, tender yet chewy. The peppers arenโt too spicy, more about enhancing the aroma. The dish smells amazing as soon as it arrives โ you wonโt be able to stop eating it with rice ๐ ๐ Pumpkin Cake ๐๐๐๐ I really enjoy these soft, chewy pumpkin cakes. The outside is slightly crisp, the inside is tender, and the pumpkin flavor comes through naturally without being overly sweet. A perfect โgentle finishโ after a few spicy dishes. #BostonLife #StudyInBoston #BostonFoodDiscovery #EveryStudentIsAChef #ChineseFoodMagic
