🇺🇸 Buffalo｜🇨🇦 A Two-Hour Cross-Border Road Trip Day Adventure😆 Originally wanted to go to New York, but no vacation days left 😅. Still wanted to get out though, so two good friends and I drove down to the 🇺🇸. Not New York, not LA, but Buffalo🐃 lol~ Lots of people around me have been, but it was my first time! 1️⃣ Departure & Border Crossing We left from North York at 11 AM and arrived in Buffalo around 1 PM🐃. Remember to complete your EVUS in advance! We totally forgot and got invited into the little room for a "mini interview". 😅🛂 2️⃣ What We Ate Everyone recommends the wings, but also says they're overrated, so I wisely avoided them 🐔💣 📍 Founding Fathers Pub Had lunch here. The food was decent, about $20 per person. But the vibe was great—super photogenic!📸 The owners were also super nice; I'd definitely go back to support them～ 📍 Raha Went to a Middle Eastern café in the afternoon. The drink I ordered was way too sweet 🍯😖, but I heard their pastries and cakes are delicious. Was too full to try them this time—gotta save room next time! 📍 Colter Bay Grill Dinner at an American grill house. How to put it… American food is all about those first two amazing, oily, flavorful bites, but by the end, it gets really heavy, even a bit nauseating 🤢🍖. We were all super happy when we started eating, but by the end, we were struggling😂. The servers were very friendly though—overall still a good spot～ 3️⃣ What We Did We mainly hit two major spots: 📍 AKG Gallery The biggest art gallery there, and honestly, it was pretty cool!🎨 Lots of artwork, and the exhibition space had great atmosphere—very Instagrammable. Nice weather, not crowded, strolled around freely—really enjoyed it～ 📍 The History Museum Next Door Not huge, but quite interesting. Mostly local historical artifacts—good for learning a thing or two 🏛️📚 📍 We also wanted to visit ⛪️ Our Lady of Victory National Shrine, but ran out of time. Guess I'll wait for friends to check it in for me哈哈～ 4️⃣ City Strolls The small-city vibe was pretty fun. We did some street photography—very photogenic. Though some streets felt a bit odd walking through (👀), so it's good to plan ahead～ 5️⃣ Heading Home Went to a friend's place to pet some cats in the evening 🐱❤️, left for Toronto around 9:30 PM, and got home a little after 11 🚗🏡 All in all, a very successful cross-border day trip! So much fun～ If you're ever bored, consider heading to Buffalo for a day.
