Though Carmel has no shortage of Italian restaurants, as a pasta lover I always make time for a bowl – and this spot remains one of my all-time favorites ❤️ 🍝 Restaurant: PortaBella 📍 Address: Ocean Ave, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA 93921 🅿️ Parking: Street parking available 💰 Price: Around $55 per person The restaurant looks like something straight out of a fairytale 🏡✨! If you want to sit outdoors, reservations are recommended, but the indoor seating is also cozy and full of charm. Today I tried the Pasta alla Carbonara – highly recommended by the staff – and wow, it blew me away from the first bite! 🥓🍄 The wide noodles hold the creamy sauce perfectly, rich with bacon and mushroom flavors. Absolutely satisfying! It gets a little rich toward the end, so sharing between two people is ideal 👌.
