Great food, fun sights, and plenty of photo ops. Save this guide! 🚗 Let’s Go! Bay Area → Carmel Drove from the Bay Area around noon—took about 2 hours. The scenic route along the ocean was stunning, and the breeze was so refreshing! 🌊💨 📍 Carmel Plaza First stop: Carmel Plaza. A cute square with lots of shops—perfect for a relaxed stroll and some retail therapy. Very photogenic! 📍 Tuck Box An adorable fairy-tale-style tea house 🍵… but it closes at noon, so we missed it. Still, the outside is super cute and worth a quick photo! 📍 The Church of the Wayfarer A quiet and beautiful little chapel ⛪ with a lovely garden at the entrance. Great place to sit, reflect, and soak in the calm vibe. 📍 Carmel Bakery Time for a snack! This historic bakery is a must-visit. Their pastries are delicious, and the ice cream is amazing too. 🍦 Try the cream puff if you have a sweet tooth! 📍 Cottage of Sweets A candy lover’s dream! 🍬 This place is full of chocolates and sweets, and it smells incredible. You’ll want to buy everything. 📍 Secret Garden A hidden gem tucked away behind Pilgrim’s Way bookstore. Step inside, and you’ll feel like you’ve entered another world—full of flowers, greenery, and a peaceful fountain. 🌸 Perfect for a slow wander and photos. 📍 Carmel Beach Soft sand, gentle waves, and breathtaking sunsets on a clear day. 🏖️ Sit back, relax, and just enjoy the view. 💡 Tips: ✅ Shops close early here—most are done by 5 PM. ✅ Secret Garden is easy to miss! Enter through Pilgrim’s Way bookstore. Carmel is quiet, beautiful, and perfect for wandering and snapping photos. Every corner is picturesque.
