🇺🇸 Cincinnati Eats | Nolia Kitchen – A Taste of Louisiana in OTR! 🍤
Tucked away in Over-the-Rhine, Nolia Kitchen is a charming and intimate spot serving authentic Southern Louisiana flavors. Since Chef Jeffery Harris was nominated for a James Beard Award, scoring a reservation has become even more challenging — and for good reason! 🏆✨ The open kitchen sits right in the center of the dining room, so you can watch every dish come to life. The seasonal menu keeps things exciting — I’ve been dreaming about their roasted rabbit leg since last year! This time, we caught the tail end of the winter menu. 🐇❄️ With four of us, we got to try a bit of everything: 🐟 Crudo – Delicate white fish with blood orange, bright and refreshing. 🍐 Pear Salad – Light and crisp. 🍄 Asparagus & Mushrooms (Special) – A mushroom lover’s dream! The king oyster mushrooms were beautifully scored and cooked. 🥦 Roasted Cauliflower – Colorful, with raisins for a touch of sweetness. 🍗 Duck Leg – Tender and rich (though I still miss the rabbit!). 🐟 River Catfish – Fried to perfection, topped with crawfish — the crust tasted like amazing fried chicken! 🍲 Leeks & Cassoulet – A hearty vegetarian option with white beans. Even meat-lovers approved. 🍧 Desserts – Coconut-mango sorbet and red velvet cake… both delicious! 🍹 Cocktails – Creative and well-crafted (not all pictured). The bill came to around $60 per person — great value for the experience! Also loved the pelican illustration on the menu — a sweet nod to Louisiana, the Pelican State. 🐦 📍 Address: 1405 Clay St, Cincinnati, OH 45202 📅 Book ahead! Walk-ins are nearly impossible (harder than Sotto!). Their spring menu launches April 2nd — can’t wait! 🌸 Go enjoy a memorable meal! 🍚✨ #NoliaKitchen #CincinnatiEats #OTRFood #LouisianaCuisine #JamesBeardNominee #FoodieReview #SouthernFood #SeasonalMenu #EatLocal
