📍 Sotto 118 E 6th St, Cincinnati, OH 45202 All their pastas are amazing — hard to book on weekends, but weekdays have plenty of openings. Now open for lunch too! Only downside: it’s so dark inside you’re practically eating in the dark 😂. Pastas we tried: Bombolotti all'Amatriciana — al dente pasta, rich red sauce (not too acidic) Tagliatelle con Porcini — deep, earthy mushroom flavor Cappellacci — stuffed pasta in a creamy white sauce that’s not heavy 📍 Pepp & Dolores 1501 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45202 Also tricky on weekends, but weekdays are easier. Pastas were a bit firm for my taste, but the appetizers and sauces were flavorful and unique. We tried: Limone & Spicy Vodka pasta — next time we’ll explore more! 📍 Rodi Italian 115 Karl Brown Wy Suite B, Loveland, OH 45140 Pastas are decent — though the bread appetizer was a bit salty. They have a wood‑fired pizza oven — the Calabrian Pizza was delicious, with just a hint of spice 😉. 📍 Mama’s on Main 621 Main St, Covington, KY 41011 Cozy, intimate, and welcoming. Their pastas are solid and satisfying. 📍 Bravo! Italian Kitchen (chain) Started in Columbus with multiple locations. Honestly not bad — flavors were good, but service was slow when we went (it was super busy).
