Cincinnati, OH โ For the Italian Food Lover ๐ฎ๐น๐
๐ Sotto 118 E 6th St, Cincinnati, OH 45202 All their pastas are amazing โ hard to book on weekends, but weekdays have plenty of openings. Now open for lunch too! Only downside: itโs so dark inside youโre practically eating in the dark ๐. Pastas we tried: Bombolotti all'Amatriciana โ al dente pasta, rich red sauce (not too acidic) Tagliatelle con Porcini โ deep, earthy mushroom flavor Cappellacci โ stuffed pasta in a creamy white sauce thatโs not heavy ๐ Pepp & Dolores 1501 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45202 Also tricky on weekends, but weekdays are easier. Pastas were a bit firm for my taste, but the appetizers and sauces were flavorful and unique. We tried: Limone & Spicy Vodka pasta โ next time weโll explore more! ๐ Rodi Italian 115 Karl Brown Wy Suite B, Loveland, OH 45140 Pastas are decent โ though the bread appetizer was a bit salty. They have a woodโfired pizza oven โ the Calabrian Pizza was delicious, with just a hint of spice ๐. ๐ Mamaโs on Main 621 Main St, Covington, KY 41011 Cozy, intimate, and welcoming. Their pastas are solid and satisfying. ๐ Bravo! Italian Kitchen (chain) Started in Columbus with multiple locations. Honestly not bad โ flavors were good, but service was slow when we went (it was super busy). Feels like a midpoint between Olive Garden and Maggianoโs. #NorthAmericanEats #ItalianFood #Cincinnati #PastaLover ๐ท๐ง
