🇺🇸 Day 77 | Cincinnati – The Blue Bridge & The Heart of the Midwest
Today we crossed the iconic John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge – a stunning blue masterpiece connecting Cincinnati, Ohio, and Covington, Kentucky 🏙️🌊. This isn’t just any bridge; it’s a historic landmark that inspired the Brooklyn Bridge in New York! As we drove west into America’s heartland, the landscape opened up, and the pace of travel changed. We’re now fully immersed in the Midwest – wide skies, rolling hills, and a sense of calm that coastal cities rarely offer 🌾☁️. We also passed by the global headquarters of Procter & Gamble 🏢– a titan of household brands right here in Cincinnati. Think Tide, Crest, Pampers… pretty much every product in your bathroom has ties to this very building! Though we didn’t have time for a deep explore, even a quick stop here felt symbolic. This bridge isn’t just steel and cable – it’s a piece of American engineering pride and a gateway to stories spanning centuries. The blue of the bridge against the Ohio River 💙, the skyline rising behind it, the hum of traffic blending with river whispers – it was a moment I won’t forget. We’re in road-trip mode now – crossing states, chasing horizons, and feeling the slow, steady heartbeat of middle America 🚗💨❤️. #Cincinnati #RoeblingBridge #ProcterAndGamble #MidwestRoadTrip #USABridgeTour #HeartlandUSA #TravelDiary #OhioRiver #ArchitectureLovers
