πΊπΈ Food Find in LA | Authentic Hawaiian Food in Long Beach
Had work in Long Beach today β and of course, a coastal city calls for seafood! π¦π Heard everyone on u raving about A&J Seafood Shack, so I stopped by after work. π A&J is a cute corner shack with some patio tables (no indoor seating!). Only 3 parking spots β most people park on the street. Great for takeout! I grabbed my order and discovered Hilltop Park nearby β the perfect spot to enjoy a meal π§Ίπ³. Not only does it have a pavilion, but it also offers a panoramic view of Long Beach! π Hereβs what I tried π : π¦ Garlic Shrimp Plate β Their signature dish! Classic Hawaiian-style shrimp, peeled and fresh, smothered in garlic butter sauce over rice. So flavorful and generous β easily enough for two! ππ§ π Crispy Salmon Plate β The salmon skin was perfectly crispy and the meat tender. Itβs good on its own, but dipped in sweet chili fish sauce? A game-changer! Recommended by the staff too π π’ Grilled Beef Sticks β Tender, lemongrass-infused skewers β like flavorful little meat clouds! π π¦ͺ Grilled Oysters β Topped with garlic fish sauce. Fresh, plump, and so savory! π₯₯ Fresh Coconut Juice β Light and refreshing β perfect balance for the rich and savory dishes. Skip the Thai tea if you donβt like it too sweet! Seafood is definitely their strength π¦π¦π β they also offer lobster, crab, and squid. A great go-to spot for Long Beach locals β one of the best "I donβt wanna cook" choices π No need to compare it to Hawaii β it stands strong on its own! Will definitely be back next time Iβm in town π π A&J Seafood Shack 3201 Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90804 #LongBeachEats #HawaiianFood #GarlicShrimp #LAFoodGuide #FoodieAdventure #SoCalEats #TakeoutGoals #SeafoodLover
