🇺🇸 Forget the Food – The Ivy is Gorgeous! 🌹🍽️

🔳 The Ivy – that iconic LA brunch spot and Italian restaurant where the staff (and many customers) speak fluent Italian. The table next to us had five well-dressed men, young and old, speaking Italian – felt like a scene from The Godfather 👨‍👦‍👦🕴️. Rumor has it you might even spot Hollywood celebs here… so I spent the whole meal wondering if I was missing someone famous! 🔳 Jet-lagged and awake early, I walked in around 8 AM on a weekday – no reservation needed. Even by 11 AM, it wasn’t too crowded. The restaurant is stunning – filled with fresh roses 🌹, a real fireplace 🔥, and such a warm, inviting vibe. Sitting by the window, sipping coffee under the morning sun… pure bliss. 🔳 Italian restaurants rarely disappoint, right? The complimentary bread was delicious 🥖. The lobster pasta was decent – generous portion, though the noodles got a bit sticky as they cooled. 💧 Pro tip: Ask for free tap water, not still or sparkling, unless you want to spend $11 on a bottle of water 💸. One lobster pasta + one Evian + a matcha latte + tax and tip came to $117. Don’t convert to RMB – it’ll hurt 😅 🔳 The area around the restaurant is full of beautiful furniture stores, home decor shops, and boutiques 🛋️👗. Perfect for a post-meal stroll – this neighborhood is worth exploring! #TheIvyLA #MostBeautifulRestaurant #ItalianInLA #LAbrunch #DateNightSpot
