🇺🇸 Hit or Miss: Popular Coffee Shops & Bakeries in Salt Lake City
☕ First Shop Loki Coffee 👎🏻 Address: 325 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111 Went on a Sunday morning—it was packed! 🚶♀️🚶♂️ Known as a trendy, aesthetic café. Had to park a street over. But what’s actually good here? With so many people, the experience wasn’t great. The space is small with no indoor seating, and it was super sunny outside. Honestly… not impressed! ☀️😓 Ordered a chocolate croissant, a scone, a matcha latte, and an iced coffee latte. The pastries were extremely dry—like they’d been sitting out for too long! 🥐🍂 The croissant was also slightly burnt. The matcha latte had a strong, unpleasant fishy matcha taste and was too weak. The iced latte barely had any coffee flavor—watery and bland. Overall, the quality felt below average. ———————————— 🍞 Second Shop Forty Three Bakery 👍🏻 Address: 733 Genesee Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84104 Just a block away from the first, located in a slightly industrial area. Much bigger and more spacious! 🏭✨ They serve brunch, breakfast, pastries, and coffee. I ordered a Margherita pizza, a steak and egg salad, a latte, a green tea pound cake, and a cinnamon roll. Overall, much better! Fewer crowds, and the food was delicious. Service was a bit slow, though. ⏳ The pastries and cakes were sweet (as expected), but fresh and tasty! 🧁🍭 Definitely recommend this place! #SaltLakeCity #NorthAmericanLife #Bakeries #CafeSweets #WorthVisiting #CoffeeAndPastries #FoodReview #SLCFoodie #CafeHopping
