πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ How to Explore Kansas – The Sunflower State! πŸŒ»πŸ¦•

We continued north on I-35 πŸš— and arrived in Kansas – even quieter than Ohio, with fewer but unique attractions. And yes, there’s Kansas City BBQ waiting! πŸ˜‰ Shortly after entering Kansas from Oklahoma, we stopped at the Kansas Travel Information Center. There’s a small gift shop, and you can even get a free pack of Kansas sunflower seeds! 🌻 Next, we headed to Wichita – the largest city in Kansas. Key spots include: πŸ¦• Museum of World Treasures – Located in the Old Town, it features everything from dinosaur fossils to ancient artifacts. Great for kids! πŸ—Ώ The Keeper of the Plains – A majestic Native American statue standing where two rivers meet. A powerful cultural landmark. πŸ¦‹ Botanica Wichita – A stunning botanical garden with 30+ themed areas and a beautiful carousel. Perfect for a relaxing stroll! If you have extra time, check out: Tanganyika Wildlife Park πŸ¦’ Strataca Underground Salt Museum ⛏️ Cosmosphere Space Museum πŸš€ Heading further toward Kansas City, don’t miss: 🌾 Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve – One of the last remaining tallgrass prairies in the US. Perfect for hiking and experiencing wild Kansas. 🌻 Sunflower Farms – Kansas is the Sunflower State! We visited the one at 5950 SE Croco Rd. Also try Grinter Farms or Sunflower Patch in season (Aug-Sept). πŸ›οΈ Kansas State Capitol – In Topeka, featuring a stunning dome and famous John Brown murals. You’ll also pass the University of Kansas in Lawrence πŸ€ – worth a quick stop if you have time! Finally, in Kansas City, don’t miss: Kaw Point Park – Where the Kansas River meets the Missouri River 🌊 Joe’s KC BBQ – Their ribs and burnt ends are legendary! πŸ–πŸ”₯ #Kansas #TravelKansas #SunflowerState #Wichita #KansasCity #RoadTrip #USATravel
