๐บ๐ธ In Cincinnati, I Spent an Extra $150 Just for This Photo ๐ ๐ธ
This was already my fourth time in Cincinnati! I drove from Michigan, booked a hotel while stopping for lunch, and chose a Marriott on the Kentucky side. The booking site showed the same generic photos for all standard rooms, all priced at $212. When I checked in, got my key, and entered the roomโฆ I found myself staring at a view of the bridge next door ๐๏ธ๐. I went back down to the front desk and asked if I could switch to a room with a view of the suspension bridge. They said theyโd check availability and that it would cost an extra $50. I agreed โ $50 seemed reasonable ๐โโ๏ธ. But just as I happily took the new key card, I found out it wasnโt $50โฆ it was $150 ๐ธ๐ฅฒ. Honestly, Iโd always wanted to stay in a room with this view, but spending an extra $150 feltโฆ questionable. Was it worth it? Well, all I got was a few photos from this small, kinda outdated window (check the window style โ itโs vintage ๐ช๐ ). But you know what? It fulfilled a little dream of mine โจ. Sometimes you just gotta say yes to the view โ and the memory. #Cincinnati #TravelFail #HotelView #BridgeLovers #BudgetTravelButMakeItPricy #Marriott #OhioRiver #TravelMemories
