🇺🇸 In Cincinnati, I Spent an Extra $150 Just for This Photo 😅📸

This was already my fourth time in Cincinnati! I drove from Michigan, booked a hotel while stopping for lunch, and chose a Marriott on the Kentucky side. The booking site showed the same generic photos for all standard rooms, all priced at $212. When I checked in, got my key, and entered the room… I found myself staring at a view of the bridge next door 🏙️😐. I went back down to the front desk and asked if I could switch to a room with a view of the suspension bridge. They said they’d check availability and that it would cost an extra $50. I agreed – $50 seemed reasonable 💁‍♀️. But just as I happily took the new key card, I found out it wasn’t $50… it was $150 💸🥲. Honestly, I’d always wanted to stay in a room with this view, but spending an extra $150 felt… questionable. Was it worth it? Well, all I got was a few photos from this small, kinda outdated window (check the window style – it’s vintage 🪟😅). But you know what? It fulfilled a little dream of mine ✨.
