๐บ๐ธ Is Lunasia in LA Worth the Hype? Letโs Find Out! ๐ฅ
We took a peek inside and noticed mostly Chinese seniors โ usually a good sign, right? But something felt off from the moment we stepped in ๐ฉ. The decor was full of "feng shui vibes" ๐, with crystals everywhere. Then we spotted the chef in the kitchen โ a Latino cook ๐จ๐ณ. Cue the internal alarm bells! ๐ The Upside ๐: Portions are HUGE! Every dish looks impressive when it arrives ๐ฒ๐ฅ. The Downside ๐: But the taste? Justโฆ average. Definitely not worth the high ratings itโs getting. What We Ordered: ๐ฆ Shrimp Rice Roll โ The skin was SO thick ๐ฃ, like three layers in one. Totally killed the texture. ๐ Phoenix Claws (Chicken Feet) โ Way too sweet ๐ฏ, no depth of flavor. Soft, but boring. ๐ Spare Ribs โ Big chunks of meat, but way over-marinated. Ended up weirdly crispy and lost that authentic pork taste. ๐ Dry-Fried Beef Ho Fun โ The best of the meal! Beef was flavorful and well-seasoned โ . But the noodles were broken into pieces, and that essential wok hei was missing ๐. Final Verdict: Not a total disaster, but NOT worth a special trip ๐๐จ. Most dishes were just okay, with lots of little flaws. A classic "one-and-done" kind of place ๐. #PassOnIt #ListenToAdvice #Lunasia #LADimSum #LAFoodie #NeverGoingBack #Disappointing
