🇺🇸 It’s Salt Lake City! And the World’s First KFC Was So Good! 🍗💛
Most people come to Salt Lake City for skiing 🎿 or as a stop before Yellowstone 🏞️ — but we only had one day here, and it was totally enough! 📍 First Stop: Utah State Capitol The golden dome is absolutely majestic ✨ The spiral staircase is super photogenic — who knew a free attraction could be this insta-worthy? 📍 Second Stop: Temple Square It was under renovation during our visit. Our guide said it might take a few more years to finish, and we couldn’t go inside — view from the outside only for now. 📍 Third Stop: The Tabernacle – The Biggest Surprise! A paradise for sound lovers 🎵 Tear a piece of paper in the back row — and you’ll hear it clearly! The staff said the space naturally amplifies sound without a microphone 🎤 Such a unique experience — definitely come feel the magic! 📍 Fourth Stop: Great Salt Lake We went on a gloomy day, so no “Mirror of the Sky” effect 😔 And… it was pretty stinky, not gonna lie 🙊 📍 Fifth Stop: The World’s First KFC 3890 South State Street The retro red-and-white striped building is adorable 🍟 Inside, they display Colonel Sanders memorabilia. We ordered a combo — even the packaging was special edition! Felt like traveling back to 1952 🕰️ As a fast-food lover, eating fried chicken at the original location felt so meaningful. And the chicken tasted different here — rumor has it they still use the original recipe! All these spots are close to each other — easy to explore in one day. Salt Lake City is way more interesting than we expected — with stunning nature and rich culture. Totally worth the trip! 💫 #SaltLakeCity #WorldsFirstKFC #UtahTravel #HiddenGems #TravelUSA
